Abstract

Malnutrition is a condition where body weight according to age (WW/U) does not correspond to the age it should be. Malnutrition occurs due to an imbalance between consumption and absorption of nutrients needed for growth, thinking activities and all things related to life.  Nutrient deficiencies range from mild to severe. Malnutrition is still a significant health problem in the Ulaweng Community Health Center working area. Based on the latest data, in 2024 there will be 52 toddlers experiencing malnutrition, which is equivalent to 6,1% of the total number of toddlers in the region. In this community service activity, the methods used to achieve the activity objectives include education through direct presentation of material using leaflets. Educational material in the form of counseling about the meaning of malnutrition, the causes of malnutrition, the impact of malnutrition, as well as the role of mothers in preventing and treating malnutrition in toddlers.
