Sosialisasi Manfaat JKN Bagi Remaja Di SMK Bina Sehat Kabupaten Bone

Abstract

The National Health Insurance Program (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional/JKN) is a government initiative aimed at providing health protection for all Indonesian citizens. Adolescents, as part of society, need to understand the benefits and mechanisms of participation in this program. This Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PkM) aimed to enhance students’ understanding of JKN benefits for adolescents. The method used in this activity was counseling through presentations and interactive discussions. The activity was conducted on February 10, 2025, targeting students of SMK Bina Sehat, Bone Regency. The results indicated an improvement in students' understanding of the JKN program, its benefits, and the registration process. Participants’ enthusiasm was evident during the discussion and Q&A sessions. Although there were challenges, such as a lack of attention from some students during the presentation, the overall activity successfully provided new insights into the importance of health insurance. It is expected that this activity will raise awareness among adolescents about accessing healthcare services provided by the government.
