Abstract

Currently, cigarette sales are increasingly uncontrolled and without limits, as is known from children, teenagers and adults can buy cigarettes freely. This is very detrimental to the next generation of the nation. Cigarettes are very threatening to the next generation of the nation. Teachers and parents want action and efforts to prevent underage teenagers from the dangers of smoking. Therefore, this community service activity will be held for students in order to prevent teenagers from smoking, especially at a young age.

The purpose of the activity is to provide knowledge to teenagers, namely junior high school students, about the dangers of smoking for health and intelligence and to create a young generation that is free from cigarettes. The main target or special target of this activity is the students or pupils of the DDI Lerang Lerang Islamic Boarding School which is located on Jl. S. Watang Sawitto The methods used in this activity are through presentations, lectures, discussions and questions and answers. The activity was held on December 21, 2024 at the DDI Lerang Lerang Islamic Boarding School Mosque. There were 33 students present.
