Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Sampah Organik Sebagai Bahan Pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Air Lindi

Abstract

According to data from SIPSN KLHK, the waste generated in 2023 was 25 million tons, of which 8 million tons were unmanaged. Based on the type, food waste ranked first as the largest waste at 41.6% and wood/twigs/leaves followed at 11.8%. Lack of knowledge about the various ways to utilize organic waste made students at the Nahdliyin Islamic Boarding School in Lerang Village, Cina District, Bone Regency still disposed of waste in the final disposal site without processing it. This could cause odor and extended the decomposition time of waste without any benefits that could be obtained. The problems faced by Nahdliyin Islamic Boarding School encouraged the PkM Team to conduct socialization of the utilization of organic waste as a material for making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) named “air lindi”. The method used was socialization using Power Point presentations and video tutorials
