Abstract

The government issued a policy on National Energy, the target for new and renewable energy in 2020 is at least 23% and 31% in 2025. The Nahdliyyin Islamic boarding school is located in Bone Regency which focuses on the Agribusiness sector. Apart from having agricultural land, Nahdliyyin also has a cattle farm as well as the surrounding community whose profession is farmers and livestock breeders. The agricultural waste and cow dung produced have not been utilized and are simply thrown away because there is no understanding regarding the processing or utilization of organic waste. Therefore, through PKM activities the service team will conduct outreach regarding the use of agricultural waste and cow dung into alternative energy, namely biogas which can be used as a substitute for fuel such as LPG
