HUBUNGAN KONSUMSI KURMA TERHADAP KELANCARAN PERSALINAN KALA I DI WILAYAH KERJA UPT PUSKESMAS SIBULUE KABUPATEN BONE TAHUN 2021
Abstract
Background : Dates are fruits that contain a hormone that resembles the hormone oxytocin, known as the hormone puchitum, which is good for consumption before delivery. Purpose: To determine the relationship between consumption of dates on the smoothness of the first stage of labor in the Sibulue Heath Center Work Area Method: This study used an observational research method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who consumed dates in the third trimester of pregnancy. Sampling was carried out with a total sampling of 30 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire sheet through direct interviews. The data that has been collected is then processed and analyzed using the SPSS statistical program version 20 with Chi Square Test. Results: The study showed that there was a relationship between the consumption of dates on the smoothness of the first stage of labor in the Sibulue Health Center Work Area with a significance p-value of 0.003 < (0.005). Conclusion: The smoothness of the first stage of labor is influenced by the consumption of dates in the third trimester of pregnancy.
